الرَّحْمَٰنُ
{ الرحمن } الله تعالى .

عَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ
{ علَّم } من شاء { القرآن } .

Taught the Qur'an,

Yang telah mengajarkan al Quran.

خَلَقَ الْإِنسَانَ
{ خلق الإنسان } أي الجنس .
Sahih International
Created man,

Dia menciptakan manusia.
55:4

عَلَّمَهُ الْبَيَانَ
{ علَّمه البيان } النطق .
Sahih International
[And] taught him eloquence.

Mengajarnya pandai berbicara.
55:5

الشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ بِحُسْبَانٍ
{ الشمس والقمر بحسبان } يجريان .
Sahih International
The sun and the moon [move] by precise calculation,

Matahari dan bulan (beredar) menurut perhitungan.
55:6

وَالنَّجْمُ وَالشَّجَرُ يَسْجُدَانِ
{ والنجم } ما لا ساق له من النبات { والشجر } ما له ساق { يسجدان } يخضعان لما يراد منهما.
Sahih International
And the stars and trees prostrate.

Dan tumbuh-tumbuhan dan pohon-pohonan kedua-duanya tunduk kepada-Nya.
55:7

وَالسَّمَاءَ رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ الْمِيزَانَ
{ والسماء رفعها ووضع الميزان } أثبت العدل .
Sahih International
And the heaven He raised and imposed the balance

Dan Allah telah meninggikan langit dan Dia meletakkan neraca (keadilan).
55:8

أَلَّا تَطْغَوْا فِي الْمِيزَانِ
{ ألا تطغوا } أي لأجل أن لا تجوروا { في الميزان } ما يوزن به .
Sahih International
That you not transgress within the balance.
Indonesian
Supaya kamu jangan melampaui batas tentang neraca itu.
55:9

وَأَقِيمُوا الْوَزْنَ بِالْقِسْطِ وَلَا تُخْسِرُوا الْمِيزَانَ
{ وأقيموا الوزن بالقسط } بالعدل { ولا تخسروا الميزان } تنقصوا الموزون .
Sahih International
And establish weight in justice and do not make deficient the balance.
Indonesian
Dan tegakkanlah timbangan itu dengan adil dan janganlah kamu mengurangi neraca itu.
55:10

وَالْأَرْضَ وَضَعَهَا لِلْأَنَامِ
{ والأرض وضعها } أثبتها { للأنام } للخلق الإنس والجن وغيرهم .
Sahih International
And the earth He laid [out] for the creatures.

Dan Allah telah meratakan bumi untuk makhluk(Nya).
55:11

فِيهَا فَاكِهَةٌ وَالنَّخْلُ ذَاتُ الْأَكْمَامِ
{ فيها فاكهة والنخل } المعهود { ذات الأكمام } أوعية طلعها .
Sahih International
Therein is fruit and palm trees having sheaths [of dates]

Di bumi itu ada buah-buahan dan pohon kurma yang mempunyai kelopak mayang.
55:12

وَالْحَبُّ ذُو الْعَصْفِ وَالرَّيْحَانُ
{ والحب } كالحنطة والشعير { ذو العصف } التين { والريحان } الورق المشموم .
Sahih International
And grain having husks and scented plants.

Dan biji-bijian yang berkulit dan bunga-bunga yang harum baunya.
55:13

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
( فبأي آلاء ) نعم ( ربكما ) أيها الإنس والجن ( تكذبان ) ذكرت إحدى وثلاثين مرة ، والاستفهام فيها للتقرير لما روي الحاكم عن جابر قال : "" قرأ علينا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم سورة الرحمن حتى ختمها ، ثم قال : مالي أراكم سكوتا ، لَلْجن كانوا أحسن منكم ردا ما قرأت عليهم هذه الآية من مرة ( فبأي آلاء ربكما تكذبان ) إلا قالوا : ولا بشيء من نعمك ربنا نكذب فلك الحمد "" .

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

55:14

خَلَقَ الْإِنسَانَ مِن صَلْصَالٍ كَالْفَخَّارِ
{ خلق الإنسان } آدم { من صلصال } طين يابس يسمع له صلصلة، أي صوت إذا نقر { كالفخار } وهو ما طبخ من الطين .
Sahih International
He created man from clay like [that of] pottery.

Dia menciptakan manusia dari tanah kering seperti tembikar,

وَخَلَقَ الْجَانَّ مِن مَّارِجٍ مِّن نَّارٍ
{ وخلق الجان } أبا الجن وهو إبليس { من مارج من نار } هو لهبها الخالص من الدخان .
Sahih International
And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire.

dan Dia menciptakan jin dari nyala api.

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
{ فبأي آلاء ربكما تكذبان } .

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?
55:17

رَبُّ الْمَشْرِقَيْنِ وَرَبُّ الْمَغْرِبَيْنِ
{ رب المشرقين } مشرق الشتاء ومشرق الصيف { ورب المغربين } كذلك .
Sahih International
[He is] Lord of the two sunrises and Lord of the two sunsets.

Tuhan yang memelihara kedua tempat terbit matahari dan Tuhan yang memelihara kedua tempat terbenamnya
55:18

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
{ فبأي آلاء ربكما تكذبان } .
Sahih International
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

مَرَجَ الْبَحْرَيْنِ يَلْتَقِيَانِ
{ مرج } أرسل { البحرين } العذب والملح { يلتقيان } في رأي العين .
Sahih International
He released the two seas, meeting [side by side];

Dia membiarkan dua lautan mengalir yang keduanya kemudian bertemu,
55:20

بَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخٌ لَّا يَبْغِيَانِ
{ بينهما برزخ } حاجز من قدرته تعالى { لا يبغيان } لا يبغي واحد منهما على الآخر فيختلط به .
Sahih International
Between them is a barrier [so] neither of them transgresses.

antara keduanya ada batas yang tidak dilampaui masing-masing.
55:21

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
{ فبأي آلاء ربكما تكذبان } .

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?

يَخْرُجُ مِنْهُمَا اللُّؤْلُؤُ وَالْمَرْجَانُ
{ يَُخرج } بالبناء للمفعول والفاعل { منهما } من مجموعهما الصادق بأحدهما وهو الملح { اللؤلؤ المرجان } خرز أحمر أو صغار اللؤلؤ .
Sahih International
From both of them emerge pearl and coral.

Dari keduanya keluar mutiara dan marjan.
55:23

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
{ فبأي آلاء ربكما تكذبان } .

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?

وَلَهُ الْجَوَارِ الْمُنشَآتُ فِي الْبَحْرِ كَالْأَعْلَامِ
{ وله الجوار } السفن { المنشآت } المحدثات { في البحر كالأعلام } كالجبال عظما وارتفاعا .
Sahih International
And to Him belong the ships [with sails] elevated in the sea like mountains.

Dan kepunyaan-Nya lah bahtera-bahtera yang tinggi layarnya di lautan laksana gunung-gunung.
55:25

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
{ فبأي آلاء تكذبان } .
Sahih International
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?
55:26

كُلُّ مَنْ عَلَيْهَا فَانٍ
{ كل من عليها } أي الأرض من الحيوان { فان } هالك وعبر بمن تغليبا للعقلاء .
Sahih International
Everyone upon the earth will perish,

Semua yang ada di bumi itu akan binasa.
55:27

وَيَبْقَىٰ وَجْهُ رَبِّكَ ذُو الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ
{ ويبقى وجه ربك } ذاته { ذو الجلال } العظمة { والإكرام } للمؤمنين بأنعمه عليهم .
Sahih International
And there will remain the Face of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor.

Dan tetap kekal Dzat Tuhanmu yang mempunyai kebesaran dan kemuliaan.
55:28

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
{ فبأي آلاء ربكما تكذبان } .

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?

يَسْأَلُهُ مَن فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ هُوَ فِي شَأْنٍ
{ يسأله من في السماوات والأرض } بنطق أو حال: ما يحتاجون إليه من القوة على العبادة والرزق والمغفرة وغير ذلك { كل يوم } وقت { هو في شأن } أمر يُظهره على وفق ما قدره في الأزل من إحياء و إماتة وإعزاز وإذلال وإغناء وإعدام وإجابة داع وإعطاء سائل وغير ذلك .
Sahih International
Whoever is within the heavens and earth asks Him; every day He is bringing about a matter.
Indonesian
Semua yang ada di langit dan bumi selalu meminta kepada-Nya. Setiap waktu Dia dalam kesibukan.
55:30

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
{ فبأي آلاء ربكما تكذبان } .
Sahih International
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

Maka nikmat Rabb-mu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?
55:31

سَنَفْرُغُ لَكُمْ أَيُّهَ الثَّقَلَانِ
{ سنفرغ لكم } سنقصد لحسابكم { أيها الثقلان } الإنس والجن .
Sahih International
We will attend to you, O prominent beings.
Indonesian
Kami akan memperhatikan sepenuhnya kepadamu hai manusia dan jin.
55:32

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
{ فبأي آلاء ربكما تكذبان } .
Sahih International
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?

يَا مَعْشَرَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنسِ إِنِ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ أَن تَنفُذُوا مِنْ أَقْطَارِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ فَانفُذُوا ۚ لَا تَنفُذُونَ إِلَّا بِسُلْطَانٍ
{ يا معشر الجن والإنس إن استطعتم أن تنفذوا } تخرجوا { من أقطار } نواحي { السماوات والأرض فانفذوا } أمر تعجيز { لا تنفذون إلا بسلطان } بقوة ولا قوة لكم على ذلك .
Sahih International
O company of jinn and mankind, if you are able to pass beyond the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass. You will not pass except by authority [from Allah ].

Hai jama'ah jin dan manusia, jika kamu sanggup menembus (melintasi) penjuru langit dan bumi, maka lintasilah, kamu tidak dapat menembusnya kecuali dengan kekuatan.
55:34

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
{ فبأي آلاء ربكما تكذبان } .

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

يُرْسَلُ عَلَيْكُمَا شُوَاظٌ مِّن نَّارٍ وَنُحَاسٌ فَلَا تَنتَصِرَانِ
{ يرسل عليكما شواظ من نار } هو لهبها الخالص من الدخان أو معه { ونحاس } أي دخان لا لهب فيه { فلا تنتصران } تمتنعان من ذلك بل يسوقكم إلى المحشر .
Sahih International
There will be sent upon you a flame of fire and smoke, and you will not defend yourselves.
Indonesian
Kepada kamu, (jin dan manusia) dilepaskan nyala api dan cairan tembaga maka kamu tidak dapat menyelamatkan diri (dari padanya).
55:36

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
{ فبأي آلاء ربكما تكذبان } .
Sahih International
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?
55:37

فَإِذَا انشَقَّتِ السَّمَاءُ فَكَانَتْ وَرْدَةً كَالدِّهَانِ
{ فإذا انشقت السماء } انفرجت أبوابا لنزول الملائكة { فكانت وردة } أي مثلها محمرة { كالدهان } كالأديم الأحمر على خلاف العهد بها وجواب إذا فما أعظم الهول .
Sahih International
And when the heaven is split open and becomes rose-colored like oil -

Maka apabila langit telah terbelah dan menjadi merah mawar seperti (kilapan) minyak.
55:38

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
{ فبأي آلاء ربكما تكذبان } .
Sahih International
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -

Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?
55:39

فَيَوْمَئِذٍ لَّا يُسْأَلُ عَن ذَنبِهِ إِنسٌ وَلَا جَانٌّ
{ فيومئذ لا يُسأل عن ذنبه إنس ولا جان } عن ذنبه ويُسألون في وقت آخر (فوربك لنسألنَّهم أجمعين) والجان هنا وفيما سيأتي بمعنى الجن والإنس فيهما بمعنى الإنسي .
Sahih International
Then on that Day none will be asked about his sin among men or jinn.

Pada waktu itu manusia dan jin tidak ditanya tentang dosanya.
55:40

{ فبأي آلاء ربكما تكذبان } .

يُعْرَفُ الْمُجْرِمُونَ بِسِيمَاهُمْ فَيُؤْخَذُ بِالنَّوَاصِي وَالْأَقْدَامِ
{ يعرف المجرمون بسيماهم } سواد الوجوه وزرقة العيون { فيؤخذ بالنواصي الأقدام } .
Sahih International
The criminals will be known by their marks, and they will be seized by the forelocks and the feet.

Orang-orang yang berdosa dikenal dengan tanda-tandannya, lalu dipegang ubun-ubun dan kaki mereka.
55:42

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
{ فبأي آلاء ربكما تكذبان } تضم ناصية كل منهم إلى قدميه من خلف أو قدام ويلقى في النار ويقال لهم .

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?

هَٰذِهِ جَهَنَّمُ الَّتِي يُكَذِّبُ بِهَا الْمُجْرِمُونَ
{ هذه جهنم التي يكذب بها المجرمون } .
Sahih International
This is Hell, which the criminals deny.
Indonesian
Inilah neraka Jahannam yang didustakan oleh orang-orang berdosa.
55:44

يَطُوفُونَ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ حَمِيمٍ آنٍ
{ يطوفون } يسعون { بينها وبين حميم } ماء حار { آن } شديد الحرارة يسقونه إذا استغاثوا من حر النار، وهو منقوص كقاض .
Sahih International
They will go around between it and scalding water, heated [to the utmost degree].

Mereka berkeliling di antaranya dan di antara air mendidih yang memuncak panasnya.
55:45

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
{ فبأي آلاء ربكما تكذبان } .
Sahih International
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?
55:46

وَلِمَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِ جَنَّتَانِ
{ ولمن خاف } أي لكل منهم أو لمجموعهم { مقام ربه } قيامه بين يديه للحساب فترك معصيته { جنتان } .
Sahih International
But for he who has feared the position of his Lord are two gardens -

Dan bagi orang yang takut akan saat menghadap Tuhannya ada dua surga.
55:47

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
{ فبأي آلاء ربكما تكذبان } .
Sahih International
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -

Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?,

ذَوَاتَا أَفْنَانٍ
{ ذواتا } تثنية ذوات على الأصل ولامها ياء { أفنان } أغصان جمع فنن كطلل .
Sahih International
Having [spreading] branches.
Indonesian
kedua surga itu mempunyai pohon-pohonan dan buah-buahan.
55:49

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
{ فبأي آلاء ربكما تكذبان } .
Sahih International
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?

فِيهِمَا عَيْنَانِ تَجْرِيَانِ
{ فيهما عينان تجريان } .

In both of them are two springs, flowing.

Di dalam kedua surga itu ada dua buah mata air yang mengalir

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
{ فبأي آلاء ربكما تكذبان } .
Sahih International
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?
55:52

فِيهِمَا مِن كُلِّ فَاكِهَةٍ زَوْجَانِ
{ فيهما من كل فاكهة } في الدنيا أو كل ما يتفكه به { زوجان } نوعان رطب ويابس والمر منهما في الدنيا كالحنظل حلو .
Sahih International
In both of them are of every fruit, two kinds.

Di dalam kedua surga itu terdapat segala macam buah-buahan yang berpasangan.
55:53

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
{ فبأي آلاء ربكما تكذبان } .
Sahih International
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?

مُتَّكِئِينَ عَلَىٰ فُرُشٍ بَطَائِنُهَا مِنْ إِسْتَبْرَقٍ ۚ وَجَنَى الْجَنَّتَيْنِ دَانٍ
{ متكئين } حال عامله محذوف، أي يتنعمون { على فرش بطائنها من إستبرق } ما غلظ من الديباج وخشن والظهائر من السندس { وجنى الجنتين } ثمرهما { دان } قريب يناله القائم والقاعد والمضطجع .
Sahih International
[They are] reclining on beds whose linings are of silk brocade, and the fruit of the two gardens is hanging low.
Indonesian
Mereka bertelekan di atas permadani yang sebelah dalamnya dari sutera. Dan buah-buahan di kedua surga itu dapat (dipetik) dari dekat.
55:55

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
{ فبأي آلاء ربكما تكذبان } .
Sahih International
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?
55:56

فِيهِنَّ قَاصِرَاتُ الطَّرْفِ لَمْ يَطْمِثْهُنَّ إِنسٌ قَبْلَهُمْ وَلَا جَانٌّ
{ فيهن } في الجنتين وما اشتملتا عليه من العلالي والقصور { قاصرات الطرف } العين على أزواجهن المتكئين من الإنس والجن { لم يطمثهن } يفتضهن وهن من الحور أو من نساء الدنيا المنشآت { إنس قبلهم ولا جان } .
Sahih International
In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinni -

Di dalam surga itu ada bidadari-bidadari yang sopan menundukkan pandangannya, tidak pernah disentuh oleh manusia sebelum mereka (penghuni-penghuni surga yang menjadi suami mereka), dan tidak pula oleh jin.
55:57

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
{ فبأي آلاء ربكما تكذبان } .
Sahih International
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? -

Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?

كَأَنَّهُنَّ الْيَاقُوتُ وَالْمَرْجَانُ
{ كأنهن الياقوت } صفاء { والمرجان } اللؤلؤ بياضا .
Sahih International
As if they were rubies and coral.

Seakan-akan bidadari itu permata yakut dan marjan.
55:59

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
{ فبأي آلاء ربكما تكذبان } .
Sahih International
So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?

هَلْ جَزَاءُ الْإِحْسَانِ إِلَّا الْإِحْسَانُ
{ هل } ما { جزاء الإحسان } بالطاعة { إلا الإحسان } بالنعيم .
Sahih International
Is the reward for good [anything] but good?

Tidak ada balasan kebaikan kecuali kebaikan (pula).
55:61

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
{ فبأي آلاء ربكما تكذبان } .

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?

وَمِن دُونِهِمَا جَنَّتَانِ
{ ومن دونهما } الجنتين المذكورتين { جنتان } أيضا لمن خاف مقام ربه .
Sahih International
And below them both [in excellence] are two [other] gardens -

Dan selain dari dua surga itu ada dua surga lagi

{ حور } شديدات سواد العيون وبياضها { مقصورات } مستورات { في الخيام } من در مجوف مضافة إلى القصور شبيهة بالخدور .

(Bidadari-bidadari) yang jelita, putih bersih, dipingit dalam rumah.

لَمْ يَطْمِثْهُنَّ إِنسٌ قَبْلَهُمْ وَلَا جَانٌّ
{ لم يطمثهن إنس قبلهم } قبل أزواجهن { ولا جان } .

Untouched before them by man or jinni -

Mereka tidak pernah disentuh oleh manusia sebelum mereka (penghuni-penghuni surga yang menjadi suami mereka), dan tidak pula oleh jin.

مُتَّكِئِينَ عَلَىٰ رَفْرَفٍ خُضْرٍ وَعَبْقَرِيٍّ حِسَانٍ
{ متكئين } أي أزواجهم وإعرابه كما تقدم { على رفرف خضر } جمع رفرفة، أي بسط أو وسائد { وعبقري حسان } جمع عبقرية، أي طنافس .

Reclining on green cushions and beautiful fine carpets.
Indonesian
Mereka bertelekan pada bantal-bantal yang hijau dan permadani-permadani yang indah.
